Matthews Veterinary Services has enjoyed 22 years of caring exclusively for horses. Dr. Matt J. Matthews and Associates address all aspects of equine veterinary care. Our mobile units are equiped for field examinations, diagnostics, treatments and surgery.
We accept patients throughout North San Diego County. 24 hour emergency services are provided for established patients. Distant medical evaluations or international travel for prepurchase examinations can be arranged.
Our practice specialties include athletic performance horses, breeding farm management, advanced reproductive techniques, lameness examinations, advanced performance dentistry, diagnostic imaging, injury rehabilitation, and comprehensive companion horse care. We use our experience of more than 100,000 client appointments to provide proper diagnostics and proven treatments plans. The Matthews Veterinary Services doctors have 62 years of combined experience vetting horses. We would like to use our knowlege to care for your horse.
